Impact AO grew out of our commitment to and quest for greater vitality. To strive beyond merely the absence of poverty. A willingness to accept our shared responsibility and embrace active participation to bring about a world with greater abundance. Not in some places and for some people, but for everyone and everywhere.

Lofty and audacious? Absolutely.

We believe in purpose-driven profit and that business can and will take its rightful seat at the intersection of economy, ecology and society. Why? Because we can only truly thrive when others around us thrive also. We resist the beckoning of the zero-sum bell and embrace the tougher, more rewarding challenge of defining and solving for growth differently.

We also believe the best solutions to the world’s most vexing problems come from the minds of those impacted. The modern actors of social change, scores of entrepreneurial minds whose experiences and histories are altogether different, but who share the will to improve the lives of those in their community. They are unafraid to propose bold new solutions and challenge the status quo.

At one time, the Japanese had one word for both blue and green - AO. A metaphor that paints for us a picture of an open landscape, teeming with vibrancy and potential, where the various hues dance on the horizon.
